Nope, Celestia is best…because we haven’t seen enough of her (srsly, I want a Celestia episode…so we can figure out exactly what the hell an ‘alicorn’ is)

I feel that way too. Either Celestia is an idiot, or she just doesn’t care about collateral damage if she’s ever wrong. Maybe she doesn’t value life as much anymore since she’s a thousand years old, and the death of normal ponies has lost a lot of its significance to her?

Definitely true. I used to be a Celestia fan, but after season 3… Sorry, I don’t care how awesome one pony is, the lives of an entire empire are worth more than a test.

Don’t get me wrong, I used to be quite fond of Celestia too, but in Season 3 she pissed me off a lot.
 
Cadence is OK. She’s nice but nothing about her really stands out to me.
 
Also, Twilight Sparkle ascending into princesshood does not automatically make me like her as a princess just because I liked her as a unicorn.
