Heh, thanks. I was afraid I kinda went overboard considering I merely was going to state Rainbow as Kenny and turned it into a full-fledged character explanation (well, still went overboard).

I might put Rainbow Dash as Kenny. They are both good in the right place but have their faults that tend to get the better of themselves. They form a relationship with Lee/AJ that turns out good, bad or mixed on your decisions.
 
Plus Scoots as Duck more-or-less. Fluttershy would make a good enough Katjaa (the only one who isn’t much prone to violence and a vet to boot).
 
Which helps to my casting of either Lightning Dust or Gilda as Lilly. Somepony to be on edge with them.
 
Larry couldn’t be an Earth Pony. If he were a griffin that’d work because it’s heavily implied that Larry dislikes Lee just for the color of his skin.
 
Ben is Spike not just because of him being somewhat cowardly and a major klutz (Spike at Your Service and Just For Sidekicks pretty much show he can be this majorly) but because I place Carley as Twilight. Carley defends Ben when he is accused by Lilly and they seem to be good enough friends for that to happen.
 
Lyra and BonBon as stated before for Omid and Christa.

Yeah, that fits quite well. Only thing I don’t like is that it implies that Applebloom is dead. But the scenario does feel pretty right.

I see AJ as Lee when compared to the characters in this universe.
 
Instead of AJ killing somepony having an affair with their significant other she brutally murders somepony in the attempt to protect her family.
 
Plus Macon has a ponyville vibe towards it. Instead of pharmacy owners, they work on a farm. Applejack forms a connection with Sweetie Belle due to wanting to protect her and also because she reminds her of her sister.
 
Plus Lee despite his faults is a good man who tries to do the right thing. Similar to our stubborn cowpony over here.

I would’ve thought Spike could have been Ben. If you make the right choices, Ben and Lee can form a somewhat positive relationship (basically forgive his massive fuck-ups).
