well, the weird thing that scares me is that celestia and luna are giant women, something that doesn’t compare to directors from real world. Directors from real world with young people (i mean teenagers of any age) are the same size and not at other times. I think what makes sense is that their heights are compared to their equestrian counterparts.

If “the 80s” was a period that started at the beginning of 1980, and ended at the end of 1989, then it began 40 years, 10 months and 17 days ago, and ended 30 years, 10 months and 18 days ago.

So it’s mostly less than 40 years ago.

You are both right, guys. I don’t know what got into me to dump this show the most and avoid the subject of every other cartoon looking and borrowing similiar tropes. I’m just not in the mood and… it simply made me cherry-pick the subject, that I didn’t care about or didn’t notice in most Cartoon Network cartoons (I know MLP is not from CN). Sorry for it once again. I wish you long and happy life.

If that’s true, then a smart person would hide the EqG tag.
Just because you cherry-pick surface details of two different pieces of media doesn’t make it a ripoff, especially since those two shows are nothing alike. I guess DC Super Hero Girls is ripping of EqG because…um…it’s in a school and powers are involved? Yep, that sounds like a reasonable reason to dislike something.

@damiranc1
..and I can’t explain, why I hate modern trends there.

You’re so close to saying “back in my day…!”

dude, sorry. I just hate EqG. It’s Monster High knock-off for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not technophobe boomer that hates everything modern, but my hate toward EqG comes from the reason, that with Equestria Girl the “pony” in the title does not make any sense, and also like mentioned above, that being low-budget version of MH.
