There’s a misunderstanding, then.
There is no approval process; there’s simply too many entries for that. If there’s a specific issue with the pose or something they’ll usually let you know. The only concern I see is that the image is very small, but I think that’s a bit minor.
The 2021 community collab tag itself is ONLY for the final images, because that is how they determine what images are used to go in. It happens ever year, people use this image tag for multiple pictures and the OC ends up in multiple places on the final collab.
The 2021 community collab tag needs to be removed from the other image, even if it’s on standby.

Yes. I talked with my friend and he said he wanted to keep the >>2490666 post incase this one did not make it in. But all in all he does want this one in if possible and will deny the other one.

My suggestion is to keep the duo. Original art and already in a pair so Dark Angel doesn’t have to be drawn a second time.
