I tried Rainbow Dash, so I wanted to try Fluttershy too!

It’s not as good as I would like, but I’m too tired from studying and spend already an hour on the colors. I could say I made her green because of the fact she is all about animals and nature but, honestly, I just did it because I have a problem with working with green, so I decided to just train myself on the shy girl.

Headcanons!:
-She is extremely tall, hovering over anyone, nearing Cadence/Luna in her height. She normally keeps her head down, to make herself look smaller and less noticeable, she does start sitting straighter and walking around with her full height on display with her friends and family, though!

-Is best friends with Rainbow Dash, the two are childhood friends and they trust each other with absolutely everything. They dated in the past for a month but both decided they simply didn’t see each other that way and went back to being friends, there are no hard feelings between them, and the two still laugh at their dating days.

-Has a massive crush on Daring Do. Has a platonic relationship with Discord and the two are practically best friends/roommates, as Discord just hangs around the cottage so often (Rainbow was a bit jealous for a while).

-Her parents are probably her favorite ponies ever, they were always there to support her, be it with her first day in therapy, her transition, or her career choice. There was never a sign of judgment in their house and, even if her brother can be annoying and a bit lazy sometimes, he is just as nonjudgmental as their parents. The two aren’t exactly close, both super different in personality and their views on a lot of things, growing up having a lot of fights, but the two are still proud to call each other siblings and would drop anything they have to show each other support, be it with Fluttershy’s small concerts for her animals, friends, and family at her cottage, or Zephyr’s opening of his own mane salon. The two aren’t very physical with each other, like hugs, but they aren’t very touchy with really anyone.

-Fluttershy, and all of her family members, is a “cloud” pegasus, which means they are practically born to work with clouds and their shapes, as they have very soft wings, touches and are very light, making it perfect for them to change the shapes and move the clouds around without destroying them. “Cloud” pegasi are mostly known for their very nature-like colors and soft-colored bodies.

-Growing up, when Rainbow’s stutter was still something she couldn’t control very well, Fluttershy often spoke for her. That, alongside therapy, made her a bit more confident in her teen and adult years. While she is still very quiet and nervous about talking to others, she doesn’t shy away from actually speaking. She and Rainbow Dash often have “silent” conversations, where they just know what the other wants or needs without having to talk.

-As I mentioned before, she makes little concerts at her cottage for her animals, friends, and family, while still keeping her cottage as a safe place for animals. Except, this time, her cottage also works as an adoption shelter. She still cares for wild animals and sets them free once they are in full health, but she also tries to give homes to other animals.

-I like to think Fluttershy is actually very emo and uses dark humor as coping mechanism. So, emo Fluttershy.
