The younger daughter of Cheerilee and Big Mac, Melba Rose takes after her mother’s side of the family more than her sister. She’s still quite tall, however, already almost the same height as her cousin Tarte Tatin. 

Has a standard Apple accent, but makes an effort to conceal it with a fake Canterlot accent (much like Rarity) in order to sound more like a refined young mare. Delrouval often tried her hardest to make her sister appreciate their heritage instead, to no avail.  

Her best friend in the entire world is Nacre Pearl, whom she dotes on near constantly. She’s the sensible rationalist to Pearl’s nervous disposition, making the two a perfect pair.  

All Melrose dreams of is to become a food critic in Canterlot. She idolizes Zesty Gourmand and wishes nothing more than to study under her one day.
