To be fair, Chrysalis does have a point. She’s led a much tougher life than a pony like Twilight could ever imagine. Chrysalis led the Changelings for a thousand years, and managed to keep them mostly alive, despite constant starvation. Compare that with Twilight, who grew up in privileged surroundings as Celestia’s favorite student, had a brother who became Captain of the Royal Guard, was babysat by another princess, said princess marrying her brother, and finally becoming a princess herself for inventing new magic.  
There’s a reason some brony’s side with Chrysalis.
