Pinkie was the first of her friends to get married and also the first to have children. Tempest grew up with a fairly loveless family and she feared she’d make a bad mother. This caused a lot of turmoil in their early relationship as Pinkie wanted 10-15 kids! They settled on 2 and Tempest tries her best to be a good mother. She lucked out because both of her kids are fairly calm and independent.  
Their eldest child is actually Bedrock Bishop Pie or BB for short and he was a sweet and gentle creature from day one. Tempest has trouble connecting with him sometimes and truthfully…so does Pinkie. He doesn’t enjoy baking and preferred to play with his stuffed animals, nap, and listen to music [his favorite is Opera and classical] as a child. In fact, he’s extremely low energy and a little drowsy in personality. He does engage with his family a lot but he’ll often fall asleep partway through.
 
Unlike his sister Maraschino who’s bombastic and a physically strong athlete, BB is kinda just a little too soft for Tempest. She always tries to interact with him though. She’s made mistakes in the past with thoughts on how to raise BB but they have a better relationship now that BB is older and can communicate better with her while Tempest listens more. BB will always be a soft boi though.
 
BB is very good with children and works at a Daycare run by the CMC in Ponyville.  
He’s known as the naptime instructor as he’s very good at helping the little ones fall asleep through singing and guided meditation.
 
Sleep therapy is his end goal and career. During most weeknights, BB attends Luna’s Moonlight University [a prestigious university run at night] working toward his therapy degree.
 
 
Fun Facts:  
-BB gets a lot of attention for his looks and he can be a bit manipulative when he senses someone’s interested. He’s honest about not looking for anything serious but he has no problem indulging in some scandalous behavior if he can benefit from it somehow. He doesn’t do this a lot though because he often feels guilty afterward.
 
-Misanthropy hates BB. Mostly because his little sister Chihiro is obsessed with BB but also because Shenandoah Apple constantly drools over him. Either way, Mister wants him dead.
 
-Despite being very low energy, BB is in fact an extrovert. He loves people and he makes friends quickly.
