Phoenix Fireworks is the goofy daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer.  
She was born in Ponyville though she travels back and forth from the Crystal Empire to be with her mentor and aunt Cadence.  
Fifi’s aunt is her favorite pony alive and she relishes her time talking to her aunt about Love and romantic stories!
 
From an early age, Phoenix has been praised for her immense magical power. She’s scary powerful though that’s not apparent if you meet her in passing. Nevertheless, she is considered the Element of Magic. Unfortunately, she lacks focus and it’s a problem Cadence and her moms have been working on with her.
 
Phoenix is incredibly kind and selfless but naive and lacks a lot of maturity. At her age, her mothers were in charge of their lives but Fifi can’t even remember to brush her mane in the mornings. All Fifi wants to do is have fun, silently ship everyone she meets with herself and strangers and read romance novels. Clearly, her main focus right now is finding love though she struggles because she’s a big pansexual disaster child.  
Aunt Cadence has taught her one thing that stuck in the fickle little head of Fifi. Elements of Romance and a happy relationship. Patience, Communication, Trust, Intimacy, and Joy! There was more but Fifi liked these the most. Fifi keeps a journal and in it, she has dedicated each of these elements to her most prevalent five crushes/the other new Elements of Harmony.
 
Fifi is also very close to her cousins’ Flurry Heart and Frost Valour. They are regularly subjected to her tales of pining after ponies and her romantic theories. Flurry loves this and regularly tries to push her cousin to engage with her crushes. Valour finds it all deeply confusing. Her little sister is another one of her confidants but Dawn finds her talk of “love” annoying at the best of times.
