Ironically, B&B did make a very clever episode poking fun at the controversy, and the news media in general when Beavis & Butthead get hospitalized, and interviewed by a news lady after getting struck by lightening from imitating something they saw on TV. (Which was a documentary about Benjamin Franklin.) That’s one of my favorite episodes, especially for what Butthead says at the end of it.
(Back in the ’90s some punk kid accidently burned his house down, and that show was blamed for it, because the kid was a fan of it. As a result, the show got censored, and got a bad reputation in the media back in the ‘90s over that incident.
(Ironically, B&B isn’t as vulgar as some modern-day animated sitcoms, especially “Family Guy.”)
