I would have accepted it on every character, but rainbow, especially after it was shown how fast she can get, then gets caught by surprise by an earth pony….

1st page was posted OVER 7 years ago. And we are still building up the setting and filling the time with jokes and unnecessary side bits…
 
Last time this had any interesting action was 5 years ago when the bit with ‘00284’ girl attacking them happened.  
But beside some random mercenary/soldiers characters dying (and OF COURSE its only guys - otherwise ppl would actually maybe FEEL something about the brutal slaughter?) it still didynt add up much to the story.
 
Im quite sure that if anyone would read this from the beginning until scene where Spike wakes up (more or less) and then SKIP all until newest last 3 pages they would not lose almost anything out of the story.
 
Honestly - most artist here cant seams to get their stories go anywhere. They keep circling around for months just to add some random and bizarre event like this above. I will be surprised if THIS will add anything to the overall story moving forward or if it will be another 10 pages of “she is strong! We are in trouble!” Just to end with “Hooray! We got her but she escaped/it was misunderstanding and she is friendly”………………..

I have drawn a similar pose ages ago, and it’s difficult to make the punch look like there’s any real force behind it. This seems to suffer from the same issue.
