I never said our heroes aren’t hypocrites (by the way, Discord was redeemed only because Celestia tought his powers could be useful, she literally said that). All this conversation started because you tried to blame me in something.

Yet twilight salvaged her. And instead an imprisoned enemy. They got a new firend or ally. Things are better this way.
Now the problem here is that they offered taht to almost everyone they met except cozy. tirek , and chrysalis. They shoudl have at least reached out. That makes our “heroes” hypocrites. If you take into account why the whole s9 thing happened in the first place. THings get even more preposterous.
Starlight just got too far in what she’s done, that’s all.

Also by real life standards we have had prisons executaions etc. For the last couple thousand years and they aint working people still do shit regardless. Shouldnt we give incentive to them to reduce recidivism? to reform?

If we show people that they can do really bad stuff and get away with it just by saying “I’m very sorry I was wrong”, then people will use it.
Sure if you are vengeful and vindictive to the one wronged you yea. You’d be right then.

You say that for the trio but in other posts you also said starlight deserves the same fate even though she stoped.
Then blow them to smithereens while they’re frozen.
People who can’t be good are just exist. There are not a lot of them, but they are here. The only thing you can do to prevent them from doing bad stuff is to give reason for not to do it. Tirek, Cozy and Chrysalis became the examples that not everyone will be forgiven. When someone have a reason to do bad stuff, we can proof them that they are wrong. When someone doing bad stuff because this is who they are, we can only make sure they won’t be able to do it.
So black-and-white morality does exist? And she, Chrysalis, and Tirek support Star Swirl’s villain mindset? And you’re ok with that?

You can just born with something fundamentally wrong in your head and be unable to do anything about it. If it just so happens that your genes came together in one specific way, then bom - you are crazy ass, no matter what alse happend in your life, you are just kinda wrong by yourself. Evil people not always have some reasons to be evil, sometimes it’s just what they are.
Selfish and bratty are not the same as pure evil. Anyone who thinks that must really hate kids.

Real children aren’t winged horses. Since when does this show has to be 100% realistic?
Stewie is from a TV-14 comedy show, Damien was a demon, and Michael Myers was….well, Michael Myers. Those three weren’t from an educational kids show. Real children aren’t automatically evil from day one.

Stewie Griffin was born evil. So were Damien Thorne, Michael Myers (the shitty remake doesn’t count) and Darkseid.
Cozy Glow doesn’t need an origin story.

It’s better if we DON’T know why she’s evil. The mystery makes it that much more compelling.
So, I don’t get why people constantly ask “Why is Cozy Glow evil? Who are her parents? Where did she come from?”.
