Description

1-2. Pippin may be the youngest of the Apple family, but she is an important part of it. This filly is an enthusiastic, loud, and determined little fireball. She is always eager to help out on the farm, and is most always willing to take on new and challenging tasks. However, if something needs fixing or building, Pippin insists on being there (and that other chores can wait just a teensy bit). Ever since she was a toddler, banging her little rubber hammer against her aunt’s pots and pans, Pippin has had a fascination with fixing things, and making something new. Some of her earliest memories include sitting in the grass, watching her mother fix a fallen fence with seemingly no effort at all. Applebloom shared her daughter’s enthusiasm and didn’t hesitate to let her learn all she wanted and ask any question she thought of. She couldn’t describe how proud she was of Pippin when she started experimenting with the nails and hammers on her own, and asked her to show her how to build a chair.

From there, Pip’s passion for woodworking has never waned. She loves to try her hoof at new things, and is delighted to present her new creations to her family and friends. To see the smiles on their faces when a need of theirs is suddenly filled makes it all worthwhile to Pip (though some of her older chairs prop up plants instead of ponies). Funnily enough, though, no cutie mark has appeared on her flank quite yet. Applebloom doesn’t really worry for her daughter (and the worry of a cutie mark is something Pip didn’t really inherit), but that doesn’t stop her from slipping a new hammer into her collection, and encouraging her to try and maybe fix the incredibly tricky hinge to her dad’s mobile wardrobe…

3. Pippin was welcomed into the family with warmth and enthusiasm. She enjoys having a big family, and loves hearing all kinds of stories about her grandparents. The little filly is very family-oriented, and takes a lot of pride in being an Apple. While she knows they technically aren’t sisters, she sees her older cousins, Juniper and Chryssi, as such. The girls all grew up and currently live together on the farm, and the two fillies stepped into the role of ‘big sisters’ with little hesitation. Pippin loves to work together with them, and while she can’t buck apples just yet, her gathering skills rival that of even her mother. The little filly looks up to the mares and very much admires them. She also has quite the big heart, and outside of her two closest friends in the world, Pip loves to meet new ponies. She also makes sure she stands up for what’s right. Ever since she was small, and overheard a teenage pony making a crack about how Chryssi was “bulkier than the average filly,” its hard to stop herself from telling off creatures who speak poorly of others. Growing up with a “sister” who can’t see very well, Pippin feels particularly protective of others who may be seen as a bit different. She strives to make sure she has her friend’s back, and encourages others to do their best.
