Is that an opinion from a Background Pony you/nobody shouldn’t agree with?
To be fair, that bp’s opinion was pretty stupid.
Oh come on, it’s fun to make them show their rear ends. This one was all too eager.
Arguing with BPs just encourages circled arguments that don’t go anywhere. Take my advice and just don’t reply to them. If they can’t make a statement with their true profile, then they fear being proven wrong.
I’ll repeat what I told the other guy.
The people behind Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls weren’t going to switch to something entirely different for just one year of content.
Why should I be concerned about one goofy baby-dragon being abused in a child’s cartoon focused on ponies? And, where have I said that I “don’t like Spike?”
That picture points out that one of the fans asked Jim for an episode about a ship between Spike and Starlight, and they got what they wanted. And, he/she seemed way too happy about it because Spike gets shipped. Apparently, the writers knew that the fans would ask for one such request.
Anyway, just because Spike doesn’t appear in G5, it’s nothing to be upset about. I don’t mind that he doesn’t, at all.
This just sounds like you don’t like Spike and has nothing to do with the prior conversation.
Also “It’s not the writers’ faults, it’s the fans.” Really? I didn’t know fans wrote the show. Besides, the “proof” you provided literally shows Jim admitting that fans had nothing to do with it.
Well, Spike has been a cause of several errors in a few episodes like “Equestria Games,” where Spike got all credit for no reason despite all the hard work the other characters had done and the roles they’ve played. Like Twilight, she did most of it. Twilight figured out where the heart was, found the hidden passage to it, made her way up to the top in lights speed with her up-side-down magic, and Twilight passing the burden over to Spike was her idea, and Spike only ran a small distance over to a ledge and then fell. Shining Armor saves him AND the heart, then Cadance flew over there, caught them, and brought the heart to where it needed to go. Spike is NOTHING compared to that and doesn’t deserve to be the “Hero of the Crystal Empire.”
In “Gauntlet of Fire,” the question is where Garble’s hatred against ponies came from or why anyone would invade an entire land to steal beds. Dragons aren’t able to use magic, so they are, without a doubt, weak and harmless.
Here’s the proof showing that the writers weren’t behind any of those errors, but the fans themselves. So, it makes it clear that some of the Spike-fans couldn’t stand his abuse, mistreatments, and appearances as one, simple background decoration in the previous seasons.
This is a terrible take. To pretend that big and scary things don’t exist is to talk down to your audience. Also, to imply that young girls can’t handle it in current year is frankly absurd.
In G4, Spike’s parents were never shown or mentioned, and Lauren wouldn’t say that they abandoned Spike or died for some unknown reason.
I’ve always believed that.

What would the death of Adobe Flash have to do with preventing them from continuing FiM and EqG?
But for him to be a villain, I could only see him literally feeling there is no other purpose in the world after he watched all his friends and those he lived grow old and die while he just keeps chugging along.
Edited
All past generations have had Spike as a character. This could be the first one Spike doesn’t appear… I hope not, but there hasn’t been any evidence of him, not even references on toys or anything.
The people behind Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls weren’t going to switch to something entirely different for just one year of content. That’s why I am saying it was always going to end in 2019.
I’d imagine they’re using Toon Boom Harmony now. That seems to be the ideal replacement for flash at the moment.
It was always going to be like this. Especially with the death of Adobe Flash
