Hitch will likely be the least popular in the end simply because he is a male. It’s not fair, but that’s the reality. The target demographic will like him less because “ew cooties,” adult male fans will like him less because most of them aren’t attracted to other males like they are females, and adult female fans will like him less because MLP is inherently a feminist “girl power” franchise and a male dilutes that.
 
That being said, Hitch is still a perfect horsebando and I will stand by him nonetheless. MLP needs more well-developed male characters anyway.

It wasn’t too unlikely for the G5 ponies to become popular when the movie was still far out of reach.

lol nah once the character is shown more it will become more balanced like mane6 sure some had more then others but best pony preference is also a factor among many others its to early to tell

Forget about Izzy, even Sunny has 272 more pictures than Pipp right now. Then again, Pipp is also a character that hasn’t been formally revealed by Hasbro. Considering that, it is actually pretty surprising that Pipp has so many pictures made already.
