Don’t listen to him Lullaby, it’s true Tempest was the storm monster that put you through while as a prisoner by the Storm Guards and indirectly Tempest herself who was not aware of yer existence at the time.
 
But she’s still Fizzy yer Mommy, the good Tempest Shadow who wants to set things right for her mistakes and she will save you along with Thistle and the reformed Fireweed if you save Tempest from the influence of the Thunderstone within her by conquering yer fears as Tempest herself taught you.

Also he’s “helping” Lullaby for the wrong reasons cause he stupidly doesn’t care that Lullaby’s family doesn’t like her for being different and unjustly punish her for selfish reasons

It was indirectly meaning Tempest didn’t murder Winter Rye in cold blood cause she didn’t know what happen at the time when she was on the blimp and that is no excuse for Rusty’s behavior that he went behind Fireweed’s back with his own agenda by causing harm to Lullaby for the sake of revenge and want to make his cousin Thistle suffer for her betrayal by taking Lullaby away from her.

Looks like I was right. He’s trying to get her back home, to her aunt because his home was by his uncle. Nothing to do with any rewards or being cruel to her. He’s trying to help her. And let’s not forget, he has every reason to hate Tempest Shadow with every fibre of his being as well, because Winter Rye was the one pony who showed him true kindness, and Tempest murdered him.
 
And no, it was NOT an accident. If I set fire to someone’s home and they perish trying to put it out, that’s on me. Tempest is a murderer.

She’s all alone
 
Can’t go back to her old home was justified for the mistreatment and abuse Lullaby’s old family put her through which is why she ran away in the first place but not going back to her new home after she got better treatment from Tempest and Thistle was just wrong and she won’t be alone for much longer when Tempest tries to set things right to make up from her own mistakes, save Lullaby and assures her that Tempest is not the storm monster anymore..
