You bet.
lololololol
So basically she was simping for sombra, hard. And we’re simping for her just as hard. lmao.

That is a more healthy escape lol.
Anyway, back on topic, Hope is great. Hope sacrificed herself for Sombra. Hope went on a journey of a thousand miles for Sombra. Hope suffered many a hardship for Sombra. Hope risked her status as a Crystal Empirian and Equestrian reaching out to the Umbrum for Sombra. Hope defected from princesshood and power for Sombra.
Nonono i don’t mean like you’re obligated to give people closure not at all. It’s your account do whatever you want with it.
It’s just that it’s hard for people who witnessed the disappearance. The internet creates a false sense of security and sometimes attachment. It’s as ez for you to get to know someone as it is for him to quit. There is zero obligation unlike IRL which is kind of a problem since IRL you would most likely get an explanation while on the internet you can vaporize any time. So yeah, easy for the quitter, hard for the one on the receiving end.
Also isn’t it ironic that I’m alcohol intolerant. Just a few drops of booze will kill me. Lol. When i was 7 i found out my easiest means of escape was trapped shut. Was at a bar a few weeks ago with friends, and i was the only one with a cup of orange juice. lmao.

Yeah, it does suck, but I mean, there’s no contractual obligation to stay on the internet. You know how bad stuff can get.
It’s easy to think that on the internet there’s no “skin in the game” and you can just freely express yourself but then later on be dissatisfied with what you’ve left on it.
For example, I’ve uploaded pics of me on this site, been banned like 6 times, I wanted to delete my account but it isn’t possible here. Similarly, some users may lose interest in a particular field, topic or fandom due to growing up or other factors and may feel a certain shame and just want to move on with their lives.
Closing an account may not be YOUR closure, but it is THEIR closure.
In my case, I felt like I left so much trash on Gordon’s PMs that it was best for the both of us for me to just start a fresh. He can free up his comment section and mail and I can move on from that period in my life.

Aww, that’s a shame. I don’t know what you said to him or how bad the situation is but deleting your account altogether seems a bit excessive.
Over the years I’ve seen so many users just up and leave without ever giving an explanation. One day I’m enjoying their stories, left a comment and a few month later when i want to revisit the story it’s just gone, along with the author. So many good authors too, none of their blogs give any indication whats about to happen, and one day they just wipe all traces of existence as if they’ve never been on fimfic in the first place.
It makes me sad that so many people leave without a closure. They put effort in crafting their stories and leaving comments. Deleting your account after all that just doesn’t seem very self respecting.
Sorry for the rant. This is not directed at you but to all fimfic users who left without an explanation. It’s their account they can do whatever they want with it but still it makes me feel sad that they’d rather leave people to speculate what happened rather than giving a proper closure.

Ah, yes, my comments, they were great, I know. I deleted my Fimfic account. I know Gordon’s stories very well. They’re fantastic. Me and Gordon became pen palls and sort of almost good friends. I’ve been a fan of his for a while.
I crossed some boundaries and we had a bit of a falling out. Let’s just say I was depressed a year ago and had a bit of a drinking problem. He hasn’t been active much on FF. In a PM he wrote he might leave the fandom, like me, as there wasn’t much beyond Sombra’s story we were really interested in MLP.
Yes! I knew you’d like Gordon’s stories! I was going to reccomend them. The Light of Despair is indeed a great Hope fic.
(EDIT: He’s been on yesterday)
(EDIT 2: Use Wayback Machine. My comments are still there, although only on his personal page. We also had more discussions in PMs)

Did they remove your fimfic account? I was reading Gordon pasha’s story (the only decent hope story on the entire fimfic you know which one I’m talking about) the other day and saw your comments, but now they’re all gone.

Like them sitting under a tree with Hope lying her head on his chest. And Sombra reading. Because he likes reading. Or Sombra hugging Hope from behind. And Hope drawing. Because she likes drawing. Or Sombra brushing Hope’s lucious mane. And then making braids. Because braids are fun. And it’s an excuse for Sombra to touch Hope’s mane. Both would like that.
Hope wants hugs. And snugs. And kisses. And mane brushes.
@TheSultanAkbar
He be playing hard to get but we all know how he really feels :)
