Zephyr Breeze has always found his nephew abnormal, whether by his appearance or by his hornless powers. He long reflected on how a Pegasus (Fluttershy) and an earthly (Rockhoof) could have had a Bat-Pegasus, with powerful power. It was only during a discussion with his parents that he finally understood that Discord was the father of this little one, bringing logic to all his questions.
 
 
Zephyr Breeze knew how powerful his nephew’s powers were and proposed to his sister to be responsible for his learning. Epiphyllum often went to the forests and meadows with his uncle, in order to discover the fauna and flora that was at Equestria. Zephyr knew that his niece, Sunset Lisianthia, occupied her parents all the time with her overflowing energy, and did not hesitate to take Epiphyllum out of the house, in order to enjoy the calm and sweetness of nature.
