Born a meek unicorn in Ponyville, Rarity grew up with her tail high in the air. As a filly, she wasn’t at all similar to her mom or dad, rather she thought herself as sophisticated, the type of pony everyone should know. However, this type of abnormal didn’t go unnoticed by the other colts and fillies, leading to harmless teasing about her dreams to one day travel to Canterlot. Rarity paid no mind, however, and continued to strive. As she grew up, she kept this dream with her, thinking about it everyday and night.
 
At the arrival of a tacky moonicorn, Rarity is sparked by the fact that the gal was from Canterlot. She practically glued herself to her, who in return, tried to avoid Rarity in return. Rarity, known for being stubborn, stuck to the unicorn. After the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Rarity realizes that maybe she’d been trying a little too hard. She was blinded by the fact that ponies told her she could never do it, that she looked past the fact that they were ponies that told her she could, like Twilight. Soon after, Rarity was gifted the Element of Generosity.
 
Rarity currently resides in her boutique in Ponyville. Just like in her filly years, she still believes that one day she can make it to Canterlot, with her friends to help her along the way.

Background:
 
Born a strange looking earth pony mare on secluded land, Pinkie Pie grew up the outcast of the family. They loved her of course, but her pink coat came as a surprise to the family. The father thinking the mother had cheated, the siblings thinking she had come from a different father, Pinkie was always seen as the “weirdo”. Whenever the pony who picked up their rocks came round, they would hide her up in her room so nopony would see her. However, when she was noticed by the stallion, she was greeted warmly, so warmly in fact that she looked forward to seeing him again and again and again. Then, at the burst of a rainbow in the sky, she had made her decision. She would leave, but not without seeing her family off with the best time of their lives. After this, she headed off with the stallion as her adoptive father and got to see his hometown, Ponyville, where she grew up, now called her home.
 
At the arrival of the seemingly lonely unicorn, she was jumping with excitement. She, like Applejack, wanted to get to know the unicorn better. Pinkie Pie, out of the other five, was the one that the moonicorn wanted to avoid the most, her bouncy attitude contrasted with her callone, causing her to be annoyed and irritated. After the defeat of Nightmare Moon, however, Twilight realizes that she was only simply trying to make friends with her, something she had mistaken for ignorance. Thus, Pinkie Pie was gifted the Element of Laughter.
 
Pinkie Pie currently resides at Sugar Cube Corner. Though she does miss her home on the rock farm, she couldn’t be happier to have met her friends.
 
Rainbow Dash

Background:
 
Rainbow Dash was born an energetic Pegasus mare in Cloudsdale. With no siblings to take away the spotlight, her parents attention was always on her. She learned to fly at a young age, thus encouraging her parents to enter her in countless races and competitions, almost all of them, she won. However, at the disappearance of her bat pony friend, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash turned into a paranoid pony. She grew up thinking that those around her were trying to trick her in some way, even those she had close relationships with. After she was old enough to live on her own (and finally having enough of her parents), she decides to move to Ponyville, where she doesn’t expect to find her lost friend. The two hug and shed tears, thus leading Rainbow Dash to make the decision of permanently staying in the small town of Ponyville.
 
At the arrival of a suspicious moonicorn, Rainbow Dash is extremely aware of her strange behavior. The way she tried to avoid every pony, how she automatically knew who Nightmare Moon was, Rainbow couldn’t help but act. She accuses the moonicorn, at first, of working for the alicorn, but after a talking from her, Rainbow Dash backs down. After the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Rainbow comes to the realization that not everypony is out to get you, as Twilight proved to her by taking down Nightmare Moon. Soon after, Rainbow Dash was gifted the Element of Loyalty.
 
She currently resides in a cloud house above Ponyville, watching over and looking for anything that looks in the slightest suspicious, preparing to gather up her friends.
