Did I say that quite clearly? I mean “Disregard past; Live in the Present” and so, Live new; “I am sociable.” Even if my heart is pumping fast, Disregard the outcome of the past as being part of what I am now for it is in the past and not what I am now.

It can happen, especially if you pick the right repertoire, such as a Disney song at a college campus.
 
Funny thing, I almost made it happen once…but like you, I’m kind of shy. As I was leaving class one day, someone starts whistling the intro to the Scorpions’ “Wind of Change.” I stood around waiting for my cue, but about two or three measures before coming in I thought, “wait, does this guy sing it in Spanish or in English?” I knew both versions (there are three, the third’s in Russian) but, not knowing which was the safest bet, chickened out of it and walked away so fast I never even heard the answer.
 
The worst part? Now I don’t know why that was such a big deal, I start singing the birthday song in the wrong language all the time.

They do sing along in my imagination at least.
 
Hm. This brings something up; Even if I “don’t feel like being sociable” I still desire to go out because forget the “Rules” which are false (And hence, Do not exist in the first place.)
 
I’m sure I can start singing and then all of a sudden, People start singing along. I didn’t see it happen in the physical realm yet (“yet” meaning as far as time goes; Dated 26/June/2014.) but I know it can happen.

Have you tried being the background chorus for a change? It’s not so bad, honest.

Have people actually sang along? There is one of those “play me” pianos at my university, and whenever anyone plays “Let it Go” or an Adele song lots of people drop whatever they’re doing and start singing along to whatever parts they know. But I’ve never seen anything it happen without the piano.

I do take this seriously, Not as a joke.
 
And I am not offended if people don’t sing along with me; If they honestly do, That’s nice and if they honestly don’t that’s also nice. If they dishonestly do, Is it a lie or is it not? I think it is.

Have you tried making sure everyone knows the song first?
