Crystal Charm’s Help (+2) affects your roll. You roll a 4 +2 (required 10). Partial success.
 
You pick up the basket containing the grain, and tilt it forward slightly. You then tentatively shake it, hoping for the grain to begin rolling off.
 
Crystal Charm: “Whoopsy daisy! You’re a tiny bit off, Blazer. Hold on…”
 
Crystal Charm gently nudges your basket to align it with the other one.
 
Crystal Charm: “Here you go! Since you can’t see much with the winnowing fan in your mouth, you have to check where the recovery basket is with your hooves.”
 
After emptying the basket, you set it aside, and look at the result. There is still quite a bit of chaff left.
 
Crystal Charm: “Don’t worry, it usually takes three times or so to get all of it. Ready to go again?
 
You nod your head, and get back to winnowing. Following Crystal Charm’s advice, you manage to not lose any more grain. After a few minutes, all of the chaff is removed from the grain.
 
Crystal Charm: “Nice work, Blazer! It looks like you’re getting the hang of it.”
 
You thank Crystal Charm, and say that you couldn’t have done it without her help.
 
Crystal Charm: “Aw. Well, we’re not done just yet. How do you like your barley? Boiled, pearled, or both? I could make us some tasty gruel!”
