An OC I made when I first into MLP, which was just a hue/saturation of Twilight Sparkle. Her name then was Cherry Magic.
In The Cutie Map 2 Parter, a pony with a similar colour scheme appeared, and reminded me of Cherry Magic.
After falling in love with an adoptable from MonkFishyAdopts (who I will not adopt, even if she’s so pretty), it inspired me to try out a new hairstyle.
The original colour scheme of the result was Twilight Sparkle’s, just slightly different. After that I decided that the design should be Cherry’s redesign.
I wanted to give her a better name too. Something like Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer or Starlight Glimmer. I got Eventide Flicker, which wasn’t very good, that’s why I want a better name for her.

I won’t be adding her to my 38 main OC’s. She’ll probably go into Equidania, probably being Starlight Aura’s companion (who’s currently called Autumn Rose in the short story, which is actually becoming a long story).
