(Part 1 of 5)
 
((Another genie simulation coming! Although, this one’s going to be spread out a little more then I usually do with Multi-parters. (Arcs like Pinkie Pear Pie notwithstanding). Part 1 today, Part 2 & 3 tomorrow, and Part 4 & 5 on Saturday. This was pretty big to the point where I forgot some of the limitations when it comes to Tumblr images. I tried to have it so there’d be only 3 parts. But that usually resulted in images in what would of been Part 2 and 3 being too big to be properly sized and/or real blurry on the dashboard.
 
Anyhow, this time Starlight Glimmer’s going through it. Technically for the 2nd time. But with my newfound appreciation for the character after finishing Secrets of the Dragon’s Tear. I figured it was time to upgrade from the time I only did one-frame as a quick response to the episode where Starlight and Trixie tried to reach Saddle Arabia. The show never expanded upon Starlight enough for me to care about her either way during the show’s run, but I now realize the potential she had. And I know now that she actually could have worked with the right direction, but just didn’t go far enough. I’ve gone on such a 180 on Starlight that even after this simulation’s over I still have more plans for I Dream of Twilight’s Sparkle’s Starlight. I will admit that I sort of half-assed Starlight before usually only using one pose for I guess the sole exception of when I did that episode response to All Bottled Up (And even then that was only one additional pose) where we briefly see a Genie Starlight that gets wished free.
 
But that’s certainly changed. I’m making up for my lack of interest in the character plenty now. Now that I have sort of my own incarnation of Starlight that to me makes at least some deal of sense with the context of the Genie Twi AU with both what we know from Canon and what’s different in this AU to help explain Starlight’s role across the whole overarching arc of the 9 Seasons of the show in terms of how it plays out here. Part of what Twilight and Starlight talk about throughout this part and in the parts coming up on Saturday illustrating what that is a little more.))
