Looks like she stepped on a few with a back hoof while sweeping them up, then fell on her rump & got punctured even more.
Then just to add insult to injury, the broomhandle fell on her snout as last bits of air ran out of her, trapping and silencing her rapidly weakening form.
Talk about takin’ the wind outta ya. xD
