You ask the organizer what to do if your weapon is enchanted.
Organizer: “Depends. This tournament uses illusory equipment, so I’ll be conjuring a regulatory version of your weapon without the enchantments, just like this.”
The organizer uses her unicorn magic to conjure an illusory dagger, then she swings it lightly at your breastplate. While the blade slices through you harmlessly, it leaves a glowing mark on your armour, which fades after a few seconds.
Organizer: “Think you can handle a fight without magic? Bring me something to dupe. Otherwise, there’s a seat waiting for you in the bleachers. What’ll it be?”
