What unite Green/White are community/collectivism/conformism. I disagree with your claim of “more traditional = more formal”, tradition is when old ways are continued/passed-down (and they change or “evolve” over time). Green values history, heritage and keeping things as they are. White is willing to change things (abandon traditions) if it means making things better for the greater good. Blue cares not for tradition, but for progress.
Agriculture (farming/harvesting) is both White/Green. In MtG Karametra the god of harvests is White/Green. White is the color of civilization, it is willing to cut down a forest if it means it can farm to feed the many. Mono-Green would rather preserve the forest (and maybe hunt/gather).
Strongest = chieftain could also be Red.
Inherited leadership could also be Green, but monarchies could also be White/Black.
I’m not familiar with this storyline either, so I hope someone who is will join this conversation.
Also, Katherina’s flavor text references wisdom, which is associated with Green (old knowledge).

I could be wrong here, but I’d say tradition is one of the things that unite green and white as allied colors. The more traditional, the more formal it becomes, the more white it becomes (to the point white-blue gets trapped in it).
We have a harvest festival for the farming community: Green
We have a harvesttime holiday for the urban society with year-round food access because we’ve always had a late autumn festival: White
The strongest hunter is our chieftain, which we honor by tradition: Green
The descendant of the ancient royal family is our monarch, to whom we legally owe fealty: White
I’m not familiar with this storyline, but the presence of guards indicates to me this is more of the white, legalist tradition.
From my understanding.

Settled on a succession crisis, more like. Jokes aside, thank you for the quick and concise answer, it was very helpful.
Initially. They settled on a six queen system by the end of the comic.
Go Car Operator: Surprised it gives the token flying instead of a Treetop Rangers effect, given the cable.
Mox Galena: OP with Worship, or Melira,. Of course, being OP is no surprise for a Mox.
