Saccharine handed Frostbite a book excitedly. “I’m practicing a spell that can turn any species of pony into an earth pony! But I need someone reading this spell aloud while I’m doing it, or it probably won’t work.”
“And why would I want to do that?”
Saccharine’s face immediatley drooped. “Well, don’t you want Pixie Core to be an earth pony?”
“She already is, idiot.”
“Then what’s the problem?”
“The problem is that the apples are ruined now. And if I have any chance of fixing this problem, I’m going to need a better spell and a smarter pony.” She shot a glare at the unicorn- “Look, Saccharine- you clearly don’t have any friends. If you don’t want to die alone, you should help me and learn to use that horn for more than levitation and party tricks.”
“B-but,”
“No! I don’t want to hear it, unless you like being alone.”
