She is determined to prove everyone, and herself, that she’s not just the mayor’s daughter or Dakota’s little sister, she entered ‘The Trial’, without her father knowing, to become the Champion of the Prairie.
‘The Trial’ consists of canyons, a desert, a river, and finally, a mountain. The competitors must fight against each other to claim the ultimate prize, where only one wins. Though it would take just a day to traverse the path, only the strongest willed cattle can reach the summit and claim the box, which holds the Prophet’s Key.
Through years of training by herself, Arizona managed to overcome the obstacles in her way, but when she was about to claim the box, she encounters an enormous Predator, in the shape of a serpent.
With all her willpower, she defeated the monster, to everyone’s amazement. When she opened the box, she found no key, but a red scarf. It was explained that it was too risky to put the key itself on a treacherous mountain, and so Arizona wore the scarf as her sign of victory.
When everyone returned, Texas was astonished that his daughter won ‘The Trial’, and tried to convince the others that she should not be the Champion. Everyone sided with Arizona, even Minnesota. She proudly proclaimed Arizona to be the Champion, and so even Texas himself soon accepted that.
For the first time, Arizona felt proud of herself. She then sets of with her Prophet’s Key, to find the missing one, and save the world from the Predators.
