Mud Briar’s Family, alternatively called the “Bristle Bundle”/ Headcanon Family, the parents are original characters!

I drew this mostly because I want to get invested in Mud Briar more, i like him and his relationship with Maud is cute! A look into his family will help me characterise him in my head.

Bristle Canopy (she/her) ever since a group of breezies saved her after a wing cramp, she has been very curious about the rare creatures of Equestria and studies them, which she writes down in her journals. She met Banjo Bark (they/them), an earth pony eco activist who works to create preservation of rare and endangered creatures. They fell in love.

They had three children:

Tree Hugger
(She/Her) Asexual Panromantic
The oldest daughter - she takes after her parents in her love of animals, she is a member of the Equestrian Society for Preservation of Rare Creatures. She has this special quirk of soothing just about anyone or anything with her voice.

Mud Briar
(He/Him) Straight
The second oldest sibling - he’s stoic and very matter-of-fact. He has a fondness for gardening and the unique ability to find rich fertile soil. He’s considered dull and very conservative. You can never tell what he’s thinking unless you know this little secret about him: his ears are very expressive!

Featherweight
(He/Him)
The youngest and the most doted on, he’s really weak and shy but wants to be a buffy dude when he grows up. This is purely because of his uncle’s Bulk Biceps influence. FeatherWeight likes to do photography as well, he has a diary filled with his pictures. He feels insecure about his large ears
