The show as we know it will probably be over. If they try to keep it the same but with Alicorn Princess Twilight, it will probably turn out worse. There are still skilled writers and animators working on it, so there will probably still be entertaining episodes. Even the change in direction itself may be entertaining in its own way.
 
I’m trying to look at it as a semi-separate show from this point on. This allows me to judge it on its own merits without comparing it to the past seasons while also leaving the past seasons untainted by whatever might happen in the future.

It really depends on what happens next. I am a bit dissapointed Hasbro decided to spoil the whole thing ahead of time instead of curve punching us in the sack like they did with Canterlot Wedding, but I’m not angry.
