Lustre had met Gabbin on her first day of school. She had taken her courage with two hooves, in order to defend him, while two ponies laughed at him. The young griffon loved to spend his days at the Apple farm, playing with Lustre, Berry and Mariguette. The two friends had become inseparable and were overcoming their problems together: Lustre was not gifted in magic like her mother, Princess Twilight, and had to endure this reputation. For his part Gabbin had three parents, two mothers and a father, and received many mockery to be another species than a pony, in the little school of Ponyville.
As they grew up, Gabbin and Lustre came closer together. They were in the prime of their lives and began to discover relationships other than friendship. The unicorn loved the griffin very much. He was strong, kind and didn’t leave her indifferent. In addition, he was totally accepted by Apple and worked perfectly with Big Mac and his son, Berry, for the apple harvest. For her part, Gabbin found her friend extremely pretty, with her locks in front of her eyes ! None dared to take the first step, to the great soul of Mariguette and Berry who understood the relationship very well. However, during a camping party organized by the two friends, Lustre and Gabbin were abandoned. Alone in the forest, the unicorn sang, to make pass the long moment of silence. Gabbin wanted to try a few things and approached his friend gently. She blushed and looked away. The griffin also advanced slowly, and placed his beak on the snout of the pony. Both smiled tenderly and remained in this position for a long time.
