I still stand firm on the stance of “this is how you celebrate 30 years of a franchise with a spin-off that deviates from the original concept”. It would be like if Transformers (also celebrating 30 years) decided to resurrect the Action Master line and ran it as the new line to coincide with the end of Prime/Beast Hunters

What irks me is that (if what we know about it is true) we won’t have the cool fantasy world anymore and probably neither the fantasy story-lines.
 
That’s one of the main reasons I got into FIM…

The problem isn’t the character designs of Equestria Girls. It’s the creative force behind it (Cookie Jar Entertainment, who made Johnny Test and were merged with DHX back in 2012)
