Megan’s a bit of a stretch, yes, but she gets in on the same technicality that lets Lolth qualify in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms. (Plus, I don’t get a lot of opportunities to make planeswalkers, much less transforming ones.)
And I’m including the physically tangible locket with the Rainbow of Light. They do seem to be a package deal.
The Rainbow of Light: An Artifact instead of an Enchantment?
Timely Preparations: Interesting twist on Release to the Wind. Giving the card Flash at the cost of having to pay for it is definitely a sidegrade. Also, it’s less broken when combined with an MDFC you own like Valki, which is good.
Firefly’s Wild Ride: Belongs in a Captain Sisay deck like Twilight does in Ponyville. Also works great with Legendary’s with a shuffle clause, like Progenitus.
Megan: Should she really be a Planeswalker? I mean, she uses portals to travel between Planes, right?
Spike, Resistance Leader: Move over, Lin Sivvi Also goes infinite with Thornbite Staff and a sac outlet with a bit of setup, but what doesn’t?
