In the case of the villains, there is the Huntmaster with his dragon skull helmet that obscured his face and left his glow-in-the-dark red eyes visible, his green outfit like his magic staff, and his brown fur cloak made it looking imposingly dangerous and greatly feared by magical creatures, even his clan had his face hidden with a hood and vocal mask also with glowing red eyes, but his uniform was brown, but it doesn’t matter.
and finally, the dark dragon, its large size with a physical complex similar to Jake, accompanied by black skin, purple hair and parts of his body and yellow eyes, made him have a superiority complex like that of an evil god (he was not considered the number 1 enemy of the dragon council for nothing) I would have liked that upon his return he had some improvements on his body such as: horns on his head that point backwards, white stripes on his mane, a horn on his nose, whiskers of a eastern dragon, with a slightly long neck, 3 spines each on the shoulders, purple stripes on the back, spines on the back up to the tail, sharp spikes on the elbows and knees, with phalanges on the legs, with a much larger size than a 13-story building and armor. if that had happened (from my perspective) it would have been epic to witness.
i wonder what would have happened if american dragon jake long season 2 had continued the animation of the first season and not that horrible cheap and ugly redesign, he went from being a beefy and attractive dragon, to a winged snake with legs, too I did not like the design change they made to the other characters in season 2, especially the magical creatures, the villains and the female characters as the main ones
Ye…
S1 didn’t have those shortcuts for visuals.
Like some children were too stupid to understand that if he’s a dragon he looks different, and that’s why they can’t recognize him, but in season 2 grandpa and Hailey design changes to reflect their human selves…
Stupid and makes no sense within the lore.
Jake Long, as his name implies, is chinese. In fact, he comes from a completely chinese bloodline, with the only branch being his father being american, making him half chinese.
On that note, that means the dragon genetics are 100% from his chinese bloodline and the serpent chinese dragon is the true form he’d take as the ENTIRE reason he’s known as the “American Dragon” is merely because he’s the first dragon born on american soil.
I’m probably one of the few that didn’t mind his 2nd season form. The slim snake-like form allowed him to zip and spin in the air during fights which his first form couldn’t pull off as well. But yeah, his first form just looked better in general.

That’s a thing you know now.
