yes, Equestria Girls was indeed an experiment to test our loyalty to the show – unfortunately, a lot of us gave in to the ludicrous, asinine excuse for a film series that would have more appropriate as a series of April Fools’ jokes, even me. *sigh* 😔

It’s actually a experiment to test one’s ability to handle change. it has been rendered obsolete, though; we’re in the seventh iteration now.

no, that’s just the season three finale. seriously, they’re gonna have to pull something AMAZING out of their ass to make up for the poor writing for the end of season three.

Of course, let’s spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the animation of an entire season, as well as thousands on advertising and merchandising, to test the loyalty of a minority of our viewer fanbase to see whether they stay loyal to the series that was never even targeted at them to begin with.

Naw, I prefer the conspiracy Lyra theory of Alicorn Twilight being like New Coke and Coke Classic where Hasbro tries to make Twilight so much of a princess that fans will embrace the change she undergoes 1/2 through S4 as she gives up her Princessdom to another pony with it being another test by Celestia.

Hasbro isn’t some great demon set on taking your ponies away. They care about the quality of the show too. If they didn’t they would have had a company much cheaper than DHX Media Vancouver make it.

I spend the past few minutes explaining not to give into Equestria Girls, assuming it’s horrible. The very fact this Twilight incarnation is already has princess-like wings is proof that Hasbro is calling all the creative shots here. It invalidates the very reason why the main series Twilight became a princess in the context of the Equestria Girls universe. INB4 Hasbro reasons.
