Gallus is having fun after seeing the spoilers for G5. I mean wow, Pegasi lose their ability to fly all because the magic of friendship is gone. Hmmm so by that logic Griffons are superior, since they never needed friendship to fly.
Believe what you want. All I know is this.
Ponies and dragons, Changelings and Griffons can’t mate together, there for they are not compatible!
Smolder even claimed it was biology that dragons sent their kids away, not culture.
Ill take separate nations becoming friends and trade partners over superstates.
I’m not saying I’m against them becoming friends, I just don’t see them becoming one nation. That always leads to problems.

Racism is not a factor here, all races of human are the same if you strip away their skin and culture.

Each have their own culture, their own legends, their own laws, and unlike humans, they are all biologically different on many levels.
Is that speciest? Maybe, but it took 9 years to get to the end, and in G5 were back to square one, or square zero!
Ponies could not stay together, so how can they get everyone together.

Griffons are just better creatures, plus their predators, predators and prey, don’t mix! And Zootopia does not count.
Explain how griffons can stand on clouds, like pegasi, without magic.

I like your logic around all of this. But why am I expecting the worst possible outcome and the writers behind the G5 movie will be like “LOL I DUNNO DO KIDS EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS OR EVEN SAW G4?”
It was never stated that dragons and griffons didn’t have internal magic. The world of MLP is a heavily magical world, so it is entirely possible that all mythical creatures, including Giffons and Dragons, need magic in order to use their special abilities.
Griffons and Dragon don’t use magic, so unaffected.
Whoever came up with it, made the same mistake as with Discord / Grogar twist in S9, did not think well through the consequences of being short-sighted on script work. It is understood that magic is so essential, that Equestria can not exist without - yet it has happened in the G5, where the magic has disappeared. What could move the celestial bodies around the planet that cannot rotate like our Earth? Most intelligent life forms are chimera beings - and that includes the pegasi. Earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi need internal magic in a world that in S1-S3 is so static, that it was not even possible to grow food or have seasonal weather without active magic. A transition to the laws of nature as seen in our world would have been catastrophic. Everfree showed that it can happen - but then it has been revealed in recent times that this is with far more magical potential than the rest of the world, kept in check by the harmony tree.
So the magic may not have disappeared. It will be impossible without putting Equus in danger of becoming a lifeless world as seen in S5 when Starlight and Twilight came to the last of the alternative futures. Then there is only one logical explanation; the magic has been forced away for active use so that only the passive background magic remains. It is becoming more and more clear that the magic did not disappear due to the absence of friendship, but may be the result of hostile action. It would be appropriate if there is actually a curse that was sent against Equestria, and that it must be lifted by the new Mane 5.
Windigos destroyed G1, and a possible curse may have destroyed G4, and no one knows where the former came from, and if Sunny were to discover a curse that may have been protected by villains who will continue the state without being responsible for it, we will then have a riddle. Hope the movie will reveal this, if the screenwriter has enough sense to go in depth. But if the curse is removed without finding out how it originated, there is only one likely candidate who may also have been behind the windigos that Twilight and her friends wiped out during the final, and that may be the actual boss villain from G1.
If G5 is to be a little more “adult”, there should be a slightly better logical sense than in G4, where parts were sometimes aimed at toddlers than school-age children. Without magic, pegasias cannot fly - but neither can dragons, which in Equus are like super-heavy tanks in full armor and griffons that are not much better than pegasi.
