Okay, but why is nobody talking about how Discord and the Storm King were probably friends at some point? Or they even might be related (although, I’m not sure if it makes sense).
I just watched the mlp movie for the second time and I just couldn’t stop noticing similarities between our noodle man and the yeti guy.
I dunno, I just think there was something between them in the past. And I think it would be awesome if the Storm King had a change of heart and was befriended by mane six, Discord and him would be best buddies

Absolutely. And besides, he did appear in the credits of the movie align with his balloon version of himself. And of course, he did attended the Friendship Festival in Canterlot.
I wasn’t saying discord would be friends with him in canon, I was saying in principle its interesting like the idea of it
wut? but Discord only appear in the ending credits and an easter egg like a ballon, he wasn’t eslaved by Storm King because if it was right, Storm King would have reality warper powers thanks to his staff, just like how he can control sun and moon after stealing Luna and Celestia’s magic.

Well, Discord can’t be friends with the Storm King. Because in the movie, he was an enemy to the Storm King. Even though Discord attended the Friendship Festival in Canterlot, he was one of the inhabitants of Equestria to be punished, enslaved, captured, arrested, and seized by the Storm King and his army when he successfully fully ruled and conquered Equestria. And Discord will be like “How dare you evil fiend! Harmony in Equestria is officially dead! Storm King rules, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight drools!”
Yeah the storm king was entertaining to me to a degree every time he was on screen, combined with the fact he has CONQUERORED NATIONS he really had potential to be a effective villain if only he was given more time. Tempest is meant to be a serious dark Vader type.
Yeah, that was the principal problem with Storm King, he didn’t get so much screentime despiste he have more personality than Tempest (at least in the movie because for what i see from the comics, that’s a very funny personality)…
