Description

An overview of some of the translations that are known so far. I made this image using information available on the official My Little Pony website.

Pipp’s name is always translated from “Princess Petals” on product listings and from “Pipp Petals”/“Ruby Petals” on the character information page; the different translations are shown combined here.

The original version of this image used 依奇月虹 (Yīqí yuèhóng) for Izzy’s Chinese name, based on the description of Snow Party Countdown.

As a Brazilian, thanks. Let’s see if the movie actually calls Bridlewood Forest “Floresta de Bridlewood” or keeps it in English. I remember that some translations in Pony Life’s website didn’t match what was said in the actual series (the site adapted Cutie Mark as Bela Marca, like in seasons 2 and 3 of FiM, while Sugarcube Corner was literally translated to Esquina do Cubo de Açúcar, but the series kept Cutie Mark and Sugarcube Corner in English).

As a Chinese user (from Taiwan), l think these Chinese name translation are pretty lame. Hope it’s not the final version.
