Sombras story is really a Jackal and Hyde tale, I wanted to keep it relatively same
 
-The Beginning
 
Sombra was found “abandoned” in the arctic waste during a heavy snowstorm, in the middle of almost nowhere by Empire troops. They ended up carrying the small, barely alive colt back to the Empire, where he was placed in an orphanage.
 
When Sombra regained his strength in a matter of days, he somehow found himself running from the other colts, down hallways and past sharp corners and they shouted horrible nicknames and threats if they caught him. The times they did however, ended badly. However, after the meeting of a unicorn filly by the name of Radiant Hope, his days changed. She protected him from whatever colts or fillies were giving him a hard time with a few sparks from her horn, and from then on, the two were nearly inseparable.
 
These headaches Sombra would get, however, entered his life so suddenly that by the time he could do something about it, a voice, seemingly coming from every direction, started whispering to him. Radiant Hope thankfully was able to get rid of the headaches, but Sombra was reluctant to tell her about the voice who, strangely, calmed him, like bliss. He found himself becoming increasingly distant from the others, including Hope, who wasn’t very suspicious at first, but grew on it as time went by.
 
Sombra, following the directions of the voice in his head, had been led outside the Empire and lured into the middle of nowhere, surrounded by snow and harsh, cold winds. The scenery around him was blushed with snow, he could hardly see his own hoofs in front of him, and the only thing to be made out in the blur of white, was a faint red glow, mothered by a ruby crystal. The corrupted gem awakened a part of Sombra that he unknowingly held away for years, turning him into what he was made to be and do.
 
-Reformation
 
After Sombra was purposely brought back by Celestia in hopes of reformation, the mane 6 became wary of the umbrums behavior. Though he fashioned a lock along his horn so he couldn’t cast any magic, he still acted strangely. He was… more aware of everything around him, since he couldn’t use his magic or even go anywhere without any royals accompanying him. However, this was more the sign that Sombra was beginning to lose the evil inside of him.
 
At last, Sombra had fully gotten rid of any rotten magic inside him, in truth, he never wanted to be the way he was. He would never admit it, but he was glad that he was reformed instead of locked away for centuries longer.

I left out all the in-between things because I wanted to keep everything from the show pretty much the same, and I also didn’t wanna wear myself OUT like last time. So here’s Sombras rise and fall from evil, and I’m pretty proud of it.
