Strangely enough, it quickly becomes a political thriller with sci-fi overtones. Still might not be your cup of tea, but it’s not 381 pages of torture.
I was, in fact, inspired by Tim Burton! Glad to hear that I managed to pull it off.
And the fic - it does have torture, but it’s not the center of attention. There’s only like 3 scenes a couple dozen lines long each.
Pretty good man, reminds me of Tim Burton. Shading is nice too.
