“Too bad a certain pile of lard’s eating up most of our pay,” Aria muttered towards Adagio, just out of Sonata’s earshot.
“Don’t worry about her, I’m sure her heart’s bound to give out any day now. I doubt she can get much bigger,” Adagio reassured her. “For now, just smile and wave for the human scum.”

Adagio, sweetie, you poor thing. You have this stuff confused with actual obesity that has real consequences. No one dies from this kind of fat; we have two, soon to be three members of the main cast experienced enough with immobility to prove that. You’re stuck with that land whale, she’s never going away. And something tells me she won’t be losing much of that weight once she hits her peak.
