Sweet feather Sanctuary sees itself as a respite for all kinds of animals and odd creatures. From the simple chickens, rabbits and ducks, to the big Chimeras, Manticores and nine tailed foxes. Including the strangest creature of the all. A little draconequus-Pony Hybrid, finding himself at Zen amongst a little bit of everything.
Illusive always felt the most at home here. Maybe because he felt like a little bit of everything.
As Illusive would describe it:
It was a place of peace and healing where animals of all kind could come and coexist, An oasis where predator and prey could lay side by side and find, if only for a moment, respite from the brutal laws of nature. A place of healing Hot springs where creatures big and small, magical and non magical could coexist in an ironically unnaturnal harmony. A ‘sanctuary’ against the harshness of the wild where the air held that sauna like serenity that made it such a magical place. It was the magic of nature. A magic that unicorns would debate the legitimacy of, since it’s not tangible to them. But it is there, you can feel it in the air. The thing that turns this into a place of power. The power of healing. Infused by my mothers touch and fuled by the spirit of all who resided here. A Place that was, Ironically, chaotic in how harmonious it was.
No wonder I liked it there.
I believe I had inherited some of mothers conection with Nature. And laying there feeling all these animals around me, coexisting in this strange way. Sharing in that aura of this Sanctuary in the middle of this harmonious chaos of nature. That truly was an experience that made me feel at one with myself. Both with my mothers and my fathers side.
