I totally agree. Sunset should’ve been left with this outfit for a longer period of time. And apart from preferring to believe that she’s wearing pantyhose, I also like to believe that she doesn’t yet fully understand the concept of why humans wear underwear.
Therefore, she could be not wearing any bras or panties under any of her clothes.
And aparently they were seamless completely opaque pantyhose, it’s something i think we’ve never got an actual answer and that’s the reason some draw that outfit of sunset as leggins (which can be as tight as pantyhose). Still this was a better outfit for her until they changed it and made Pinkie Pie the one wearing pantyhose

That yellow part is actually a see-through miniskirt. And the pants she wears with this outfit are actually pantyhose. So even if her bottom half is covered, she’s still displaying it in a somewhat revealing way.
