I am the worst at giving these titles XD

Raspberry Latte and and Minty Mocha met during adulthood, when Minty Mocha visited Sire’s Hollow after hearing of their updated, modern community. She decided to move there, enjoying the mixed hipster vibe of the town as Firelight and Stellar Flare butted heads over how Sire’s Hollow should be represented. Her first friend there, besides the schmoozing Stellar Flare intent on modernism, was Raspberry Latte, who seemed to get each other almost immediately after ordering the same kind of oddly specific smoothie. Raspberry had been working at the library across the street ever since her parents insisted on her getting her own job, and she did it only for the paycheck. She recommended Minty as a potential new hire, and with no real reason to not accept the first job she could get, she accepted and the two began to work together. Their shifts were fairly slow, occasionally helping ponies find the books they were looking for and returning them to the shelves, until Firelight started preserving buildings for their historical value. After that, Raspberry Latte and Minty Mocha were basically babysitters to dusty books that never got check out or moved and depended on each other’s company to get through their work day. They joked forever about how they should just date already, which actually ended up happening after they started living together in some of Sire’s Hollow’s newest apartments.

Even after Firelight and Stellar Flare came to a (short-lived) stand-still with the help of Sunburst and Starlight Glimmer, Minty and Raspberry grew tired of the back and forth and decided it would be best to move elsewhere. Raspberry Latte always told Minty how much she wanted to start a cute café of her own, with a little bookstore inside so ponies could enjoy coffee and books, and the two decided to make it a reality. They moved to Ponyville, after noticing that the town’s biggest house of books (The Golden Oak Library), had yet to be replaced. Twilight Sparkle always allowed ponies to come into the Ponyville Castle if they needed a book (and didn’t make a mess in the process), but Raspberry was convinced that what the public needed was a new place to get books and enjoy café ambience. After a generous “donation” from Raspberry’s parents, the two found a vacant building and set up shop, soon catching the eye of any coffee-lover or bookworm in Ponyville, including the Princess of Friendship herself. Just like in Sire’s Hollow, Raspberry and Minty side by side, always bragging about their partner to any pony in the café who would listen.

Minty and Raspberry’s relationship held fairly strong through their adjustment to Ponyville and their business pulling in enough money to afford the café and the apartment above it, with the occasional spat sending emotions flying at more stressful points of their life. They saw no point in marriage, considering it to be too traditional and conformist for their queer relationship, but still agreed to be dedicated to each other either way. And when their friends started to having foals, they immediately wanted to hop on the bandwagon, wanting their foal to be close to their friend’s children. Within a year, Raspberry and Minty were expecting, and they were ecstatic to welcome a little one into the world, until the baby started making Raspberry crave fatty, sweet foods during their hardcore health-nut phase. But once Raspberry Caramel Macchiato was born, the couple loved to parade her around in front of their friends and customers, where she learned quickly that the most adoration came from acting like a little carbon-copy of her mothers.
