Work-In-Progress of Rainbow Dash and Zoro doing some cleanup work of creatures being a nuisance in Ponyville. There has been some debate of why I would pair up RD with Zoro, since RD has the habit of being a bit of a braggart (almost as much as Trixie) while Zoro while as confident is a bit more humble. However, rewatching Zoro’s flashback as a child, he did face a humbling defeat to his childhood rival time and time again, so his cockiness may have been nipped in the bud.
Here, Zoro demonstrates his Kokujo: O Tatsumaki (Black Rope Dragon Twister) technique that may rival a hurricane created by mulitple pegaesi (Hurricane Fluttershy episode) while it is enhanced by RD’s own speed to make it into the Niji: O Tatsumaki (Rainbow Rope Dragon Twister) to rid Ponyville of troublemakers in ten seconds flat…

Will have to make an adjustment to RD’s neck to body position, the left front leg seems off and too extended from her torso. The hindlegs do represent a problem and will try some adjustments or check the images around here for references… Particularly, ponies standing on their hindlegs…
Also her hind legs are doing that thing that bugs me soooo much, where they look like human knees because the extra confusing heel joint is too small. Might just be personal preference on my end, but I figured I’d point it out.
Zoro looks fine, can’t see anything glaringly off about him or his pose.
Tornado in the background looks awesome, can’t wait to see the finished product.
I wanted to keep it at just three characters (Rule of Threes in film and animation storytelling) but if anything, would replace the OC with Ogo (she actually made me HATE a show that I never bothered to watch)…
Some might call this a bash or a slam, but I really have nothing against her personally, just her storytelling leaves so much to be desired and has much to learn on visual works, I am still learning myself (hoping to build my own rep) but I value criticism as a learning vehicle than she does.
I have a suggestion I’d replace Mordecai with Ogo (that robot C-lover uses to make her ‘points’) or you can just add him in the twister.

As for the characters in the twister, call it a light jab or a “crossover cleanup”. So far it’s in the prototype phase so any corrections or suggestions can be made now before I start inking. At least I could add more or take away characters before color hits it.
