Lancelot is the older twin brother to Rose Gold Apple, and the second born child to Blueblood and Big Macintosh.  
YEARS after the birth of Cupid, when the stallion was already an adult. Blueblood and Big Macintosh reunited so Cupid would have a chance to meet his extended family.  
One thing lead to another, and eventually Blueblood ended up being welcomed into the family more officially and started dating Big Macintosh (with the permission of Sugar Bell of course)
