When Applejack and Rainbow Dash got married, it was with the understanding that Mark Wells had promised to sire her foal. Mark was surprised to be asked to be the stud stallion for Applejack instead. Technically, it was still for Rainbow’s first child by herd law. And so, Orchard Breeze was subsequently born. Breezy had one of Mark’s usual odd twists though – her mane was similar to his Marklestia form although they determined later that it changes to match ponies that she meets.
