Just admit it, if you are only denying the existence of Apple Dash because deep down you know that it’s real. None of the ships that includes the Mane Six are officially confirmed. That means it’s all just the same no matter you ship whom with whom, which makes the start lines equal to all ships in the Mane Six, and having a voice actress Who did both the two’s voices, and having tons of hints at the ending and in other situations actually do make Apple Dash somehow superior. Rarijack didn’t even get a hint. So just face it, if any of those ships in the mane Six works out, it’s Apple Dash.

Why do some people have to come over and tear up others’ favorite ship? Apple Dash is the most beautiful and logical ship I’ve ever seen. CheesePie was never officially confirmed, but I don’t see anyone go ‘oh! They’re not a real official cannon’ under every single CheesePie art works. And FYI, in my own opinion, Apple Dash is a hunder percent real, Rarijack is the ship that will never work out in real life.

Before Shimmy showed up, plenty of staff had said EqG was canon, but people still didn’t accept it because it wasn’t in the show. That’s just how it is.  
I personally think AppleDash is canon, but I recognize that as just a decently supported headcanon until it’s in the show. That, of course, is not possible anymore.

You’re right, they never confirm Cheesepie either, which is why “canon ship” is mostly Lyra and Bon Bon with a smattering of other directly referenced ships.

I don’t understand why people have to so vehemently deny this. Cheesepie is technically not explicitly confirmed in the spoken dialogue of the episode either (Pinkie never says that she’s married or that Li’l Cheese is her son), but you don’t see people having flame wars about it.
