Did you know that roosters can crow at night? This usually happens if the birds are exposed to sources of light at night, or if they feel that there are predators.
Also, I think Gallus’ eyes would become as thin as a cat’s at night, because gryphons are somewhat like cats. So who knows, if the sight of a gryphon crowing at night with such eyes would be amusing?
