Oh yeah, that’s a good movie too.
Ok then. And how about Puss in Boots’ spinoff movie?
Eh, they’re decent.
That’s what I’ve been told. But how about the Shrek holiday specials then?
I’d say Shrek Forever After is somewhat slightly better than Shrek the Third. You know, even though SOME people would disagree.
Exactly. I still think Shrek the Third was ok and I haven’t seen Shrek: Forever After yet.
Okay, great, you’ve proven why the Shrek movies were successful. suddenly remembers Shrek the Third
………..You’ve proven why the Shrek movies were semi-successful.
That was kinda the point with the first movie if you consider one of the guys who helped put together Dreamworks’ animation division used to work at Disney but I feel Shrek 2 while it still did some of that cheap shotting still had a lot of solid humor to carry it through. Everybody’s real problem with the Shrek franchise is that almost every animated movie uses the series as the “go-to” template for what they think will make their animated movie successful.
Ooo, I definitely hate the “Shrek” franchise. It purports to be satirizing Disney and fairy tales, but all they ever had was cheap shots and trolling.
Believe it or not, some people despise Shrek because almost every animated movie wants to make the exact same thing, or at least elements of it.
